Abstract Portraits
In my abstract portraits, as in all my work, I aim to reflect human strength, resilience, and the persistence of memory. The figures are not literal likenesses but emotional architectures--constructed through layers of color, line, and texture. Much like the weathered structures of the Arkansas Delta and the worn yet vibrant colonial architecture of Mexico, these portraits carry traces of time, endurance, and survival.
